Welcome to the website of MV Ocean Star. Our offshore commercial charter vessel is a 27m long MCA Coded ship capable of ROV deployment, survey work, wind farm and general work boat duties.

Our vessel is capable of all types of marine and offshore charters being constructed for the Atlantic fishing industry in 1970. With a beam of 7m and a draught of 3.5m she makes for an exceptionally stable and seaworthy vessel with a long range endurance.

Survey Work and Filming assignments

For survey and side scan sonar work the 42m square rear deck allows use of ROV's and associated survey equipment with ease. We are happy to change the configuration of the flushed deck to make your project run smoothly so please contact us with your exact requests.

Inside, the ship has been totally gutted re-wired and re-fitted to an exceptional standard during the 2010 winter season to afford comfortable and practical accommodation for up to 18 persons.
